Architectural & Installation Art

Historically a niche area for TGP, we’ve executed projects both large and small and can work with you to fulfill your design vision.

Examples of our work include a commission by Schott to prototype a lighting array in the foyer of an apartment building (20 Martin Place, Sydney), which we manufactured from Schott Conturax.

Another innovative product is the manufacturing of ‘light pipes’ out of solid 30mm rod with concave ends. The properties of Schott borosilicate allow these to be directly integrated into masonry and provide light into interior spaces which would otherwise be dark.

We have also enjoyed working with a number of artists over the years on a range of installation projects across New Zealand, some of which can be seen in the accompanying picture gallery.
